Monir Zarnegar
Monir, a certified graphic artist, combines an intimate understanding of her world with a lyrical use of contemporary design dialect to produce works marked by simplicity
and meaning.
Monir received her Masters Degree in Graphic Design from Azad University in Tehran, Iran ,2004. She put in years of hard work with recognized design firms and produced numerous artistic works and exhibitions. She then moved to Canada and has worked with Prototype Design Lab in Toronto as its
Art Director.
She has a considerable number of significant projects to her credit - ranging from graphic design and video art to furniture design and photography. Her graphic design works have received prestigious honors and have been exhibited internationally. Her short videos have been well received. Her most celebrated to date, has been shown in various film festivals, and has garnered her several awards. This diverse cultural experience has deepened her perspective of today’s world.
Generating a bridge between East and West, Monir maintains an ongoing interest in cultural dimensions of human rights with relation to the common ground that human beings all over the world share.
Her life’s determination is to leave something of matter upon this world.
Her purpose is clear. Her resolve is strong.
